I've been fortunate enough to buy every brand new model tablet the day it came out for the past several years. I love the size of this tablet and it doesn't even weigh that much. Perfect for traveling for work, personal errands, or just for General overall use. The speed, the size, and Clarity of the display our second to none. Some reason, it seemed like the ability to transfer data from my Tab 8 Ultra to this model was way faster. I was up and running and was able to use it within about 7 to 10 minutes, and that included installing some additional apps. I am always pleased and satisfied with Samsung products as I know it's name I can rely on and chances are, I will buy the next new model when it becomes available. I recommend this for anybody who's looking for a fast responsive tablet and, with the addition of the keyboard cover, it makes a fine laptop as well. The Dex GUI makes the tablet appear very Windows friendly. Best purchase I've made since the last tablet

This s9 256gb wifi product arrived in a thin box slightly deeper than the tablet itself. It comes with Tablet itself A usb c charger wire Warranty manual and details New style s pen in colour matching tablet pin to extract the sim card slot for micro sd. First thoughts are its a good size diagonally and depth which make it easy to hold. The aluminium feel feels very sturdy and the screen bezel is about 1cm so you have most of the tablet size as usable screen real estate. It utilises android as an os so is very similar to android phone users meaning little to no difficulty switching to this device. The setup process allows easy transfer drom a different device and made transfer easy. For image purposes, the new device setup was just as easy and it guides you through a linear process. The pen feels sturdy and connects well to the device, the responsiveness for basic use and notes was highly efficient so im sure it would be fine with more finicky tasks like drawing albeit I didnt test this. I tested this briefly by dipping it in the sink and it is still responsive with the pen, finger not so much. I wouldn't trust it for prolonged use in water but using in the bath and having that accidental drop shouldn't phase it. If you wish for more intense water use, i would advise a waterproof case for that extra layer of protection. I personally really liked the device and its responsiveness is very similar to the galaxy book range. I would recommend id you want a nice quality item with a high premium feel then this is for you, i do however feel it is a pricey device but it definitely feels the price value to quality for this price range a product. The waterproof feature is a new publish for tablets so if you want the latest and greatest, look no further.

I've given the Tab S9 Ultra a good break-in recently, and I think it can't be understated just how large the display is. It looks and feels like you're using a typical laptop, with the added flexibility of multiple keyboard and cover types, stylus support, decent palm rejection for note taking, and a crazy-good display for any-conditions use. I picked up the slim keyboard cover to really unlock my productivity, which has added a new dimension of use for the tablet. But, it isn't cheap. For the form factor you really do need to ask if Samsung's OneUI Android flavour is really as useful as other desktop operating systems.. and not just the OS itself, but app compatibility too. Android apps are very clearly *not* built for tablets of this size, some not for tablets at all, and that really takes away from the experience. I'm also not as blown away by the aspect ratio. For a productivity monster of this size, the 16:9 widescreen aspect is a little restrictive, and it'd be more versatile with something closer to 4:3. Overall for working on the go and media consumption it's a great device. The battery life supports it well. I was tempted to go for the SIM-enabled version on the basis I've always done so out of necessity, but the Android ecosystem is mature enough now that cross-device connectivity is just not a concern. Based on durability reviews I've seen, as well as the water resistance, it seems like it'll stand up well to the trials and tribulations of working on the go, though I'm not too keen on testing that theory myself! I like it, and most of all I finally get to use an Android tablet that doesn't feel like I have to struggle with a small screen if I want to leave my laptop at home.

Honestly I was having a hard time choosing between this and another tablet. But the freedom of the S8's OS and platform won me over! I take a lot of notes on a weekly basis, and I wanted something that I could hand-write with. Samsung notes, of course and the S-Pen had me covered there. However, I had discovered that on my Tab S7 I could also use handwriting input on the keyboard anywhere I wanted, and it would convert my handwriting into type. This was a game changer for me since, I sometimes like typing my notes for better organization, better referencing, and also better shareability. So now I can choose between 100% handwritten notes and also handwriting my notes but into text format WITHOUT A KEYBOARD! When I searched for this capability on other tablets, I saw that they were not allowed to be used this way. Right then and there, I made my decision to buy the S8. The device has been wonderful, has never stuttered on me, it's always been able to handle the multitasking I need. I was afraid that the LCD screen might be hard to get used to, but it's a complete non-issue and I actually appreciate the easier daytime visibility. Gaming is a smooth dream, the audio is amazing, the Smart view is so easy to use, and I love that I can use the Tab as a second screen with my PC setup. Not to mention, the battery lasts as long as I need it to. I love that this tablet gives me freedom without sacrificing functionality. 10/10, I always recommend to friends and fam.

Yes, it's huge for a tablet, but it's gorgeous with a superb screen and sound. The speed is top-notch. It would be great for gamers. I initially wanted this tablet for doing digital art, but found the real reason I wanted it was for streaming movies, TV shows and videos. I would rather watch a movie or TV series on this tablet than my TV. The color and crisp, clear screen are amazing. When I'm watching the show on this tablet, I have no trouble reading all those little text messages you see the actors sending and receiving on their phones. Or reading the text on a piece of paper they are holding. I can't do that while viewing my TV screen from across the room. I either use my Bose Blue Tooth speaker paired with this tablet, or I use my ear buds or headphones. The sound is amazing. The S-Pen is wonderfully responsive with virtually no lag time. I can't praise this tablet enough. That said, I would not recommend it for everyday use as it is quite heavy and awkward to handle without a stand to rest it on. I have the smaller Tab S9 Plus tablet for regular use and I love it, too.

I've had my Tab S8 Ultra for over a year, and I love it. Android tablets are a tough sale due to lack of support but Samsung has put in a lot of effort. Split screen support, S-Pen actions, Samsung Dex and interactions with your phone such as syncing messages, activate the Hotspot remotely and more! I pair it with my Galaxy S22 Ultra and they work so well together, it would be hard to find another option that works so well without going over to iOS. My only gripe with this device is that I wish Samsung would have put all the specs of the Ultra into their smaller devices. I personally prefer the smaller 11" model, and I would have loved an option to get the AMOLED display and 16GB of RAM option at that size. The Ultra has a beautiful huge display but it is also 14", which is bigger than my laptop. I had to get a different bag to fit this monster in and take it with me on the go. But I'm not saying that the huge screen doesn't come with benefits. It is great for games, light work, and especially media consumption. When we got hit by a hurricane last year, this tablet was our stand-in TV while we were without power. Thanks to the massive 512GB storage and SD card support, We were able to watch multiple episodes from shows accross many different streaming apps that allowed for offline download and viewing. I hope that in future versions of the Tab S series, Samsung will allow us to pay a small premium to get the high end specs of the Ultra series in a smaller body size.

The included S Pen is also great for taking notes or drawing. However at £1000, this may be hard to justify for casual users. Cheaper alternatives like the Pixel Tablet can handle entertainment needs for much less. Pro users may also still find that the iPad has more robust creative apps optimised for tablets. Ultimately the Tab S9 is an impressive flagship Android slate for those seeking power, performance and Samsung-specific features. But for tablet buyers focused on videos, games and web browsing, more affordable options will likely suffice.

Powerhouse of a Premium Tablet

I've previously owned all iterations of the S8 series tablets from Samsung, so knew that for me the sweetspot was the + variant in terms of screen size and portability. So when the new S9 range became available I knew exactly which version I needed in my life. The S9+ is a real improvement on the S8+, the screen seems clearer, sounds is more basy and the thing just flies with all applications. I've even found that the included S-Pen even attached more firmly, which was sometimes a weak point on the S8+. The tablet feels like a quality piece of hardware, with the fit and finish being perfect. All this needs is a keyboard case and you have a ready made laptop replacement. Battery life has been excellent so far, only needing a charge every few days even with prolonged use. I can highly recommend the S9+, when compared to the smaller S9 it has the bigger and better AMOLED screen and the in screen fingerprint sensor. When compared with the bigger S9 Ultra, the S9+ loses nothing in terms of spec. In my opinion it is just a more portable and manageable size.

I don't write frequent reviews, but the Galaxy Tab S8+ was worth saying something about. Last year, I switched from iPhone to to Galaxy S21 Ultra which inspired me to pursue Samsung tablets. After starting with a simple A8, I realized I needed something that could do more. The S8+ met all of my needs and then some. I purchased this for school. I can run multiple apps simultaneously and it doesn't slow down which was a HUGE deal for me. It also has a respectable battery life and charges fairly quickly. I've used this on flights for studying and barely touched the battery. This was worth the investment, and would purchase the S series again in a heartbeat. I'm very critical of tools I use on a regular basis and have no problem spending the money on something that keeps me from stressing out. This tablet actually makes my life easier-not more frustrating. I'm happy with the Android platform, and I'm happy with the product Samsung has produced.
