I decided to leave a review due to seeing alot of bad ratings which suprise me cause I have no problems with my phone, I've had it for about 7 months and no issues with it currently. It's not slow whatsoever the camera is great, the finger recognition is nice it can even recognize upside down which is amazing. Bixby doesn't bother me at all it nevers pops up when I don't call it . I love how customizable it is. The screen is good for games too. No glitches the camera is amazing. No lag either. Tho I don't have a sim card meaning I don't have any experience with the calling and texting stuff so don't depend my review on that.the rest is great though.

The phone works well. It's very thin, so I needed a case, otherwise I'd probably drop it. One negative I've found is the Night Mode on the camera. It works OK, but you have to hold the phone still for several seconds while the camera takes the shot. I read that the camera actually takes multiple exposures and then combines them somehow. So the Night Mode is not suitable for quick shots. Furthermore, my old Canon snapshot camera takes much better low-light photos than the phone, but maybe that's not a good comparison. Also, the resolution settings for the camera are very limited. If you want 4X3, there are only two resolutions available. One is 4032X3024, and the other is 9248X6936. The higher resolution definitely gives better photos, but the file size can be quite large (25 MByte is not unusual). So that resolution takes up a lot more memory and is not well-suited for emailing or texting. I take hundred or even thousands on a two-week vacation. So my solution to the memory issue is to always use the higher resolution and add an SD card to give me enough memory. Since I archive my photos on my PC and I don't need the higher resolution, I unload the photos off the phone onto the PC and them reduce the size if I want to share them all online. But other than the camera disadvantages, I'm happy with the phone.

This is my 5th Samsung and it is a great improvement over the S9. The phone itself is almost exactly the same size, the HDR10+ Infinity-O Display is vastly improved over previous models, and most other variations of the newest phone are great. The speed is terrific, and the fact that this is a 128gb phone with the capacity for a microSD card makes the storage capacity beyond reproach. Two small downsides. First, no earbud jack. I know I know, who needs that. But sometimes I do and it would be nice to have it and still be able to charge my phone without another adapter. Second, I don't like the fingerprint reader in the middle of the screen. The one on the back of the camera was more reliable. However, the face recognition on this phone is vastly improved so I normally just swipe to unlock.

The s20+ was definitely an upgrade from s9+ with many features. I love the moon zoom camera feature. That was a big feature to have. Only keeping the phone steady long enough to take the picture. Maybe if it had a lock on feature. I also love the super fast charging of the battery. It takes a short time to get a full charge. It's really helpful when you need a fully charged phone quick to make sure the phone is ready for anything you need in the moment. I think a neat feature could go along way if there was two batteries that have the same power but smaller to fit both. And they both would be on and running but once the first battery gets juiced the second one takes power. And as you charge the dead battery. Your running off the full battery. Making a more efficient phone charge. The interface could be more professional and playful. Like less steps to get to what your wanting the phone to do like instead of holding down the icon in the notification panel and it takes you to wifi "EX" a small drop down tab could slide down pushing notifications down to access the wifi list. And ect. Other icons. More ways to make the phone yours not look like another Samsung phone. Not just themes but away to customize the look of the phone. I love dark mode it does seem to help the battery. I think if the option to choose more colors like a dark blue or purple. More ways to change the feel of the device keeps the experience more live. As I mentioned before the s20+ was an upgrade from my previous phone and I think bringing new updates that brings the phone new features keeps that upgrade feeling. Even for the user to lock features they want to keep. Allowing the user to have more control over the phone. Over all a great phone and love the new features. And hope to see more greatness happening with samsung smartphones.

Good phone for the price. I bought this Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus 5G 128GB Unlocked for my stepson who wanted a new phone. I personally have not used it but he says it is fast and a lot better than his older Samsung that he has. My Step Son says the battery life is a lot better than his older phone but he cannot tell me how long it lasts with the usage. He has a better cell phone than I do.

I sent the phone out on February 20th, and yesterday June 11th, I just recieved word that the phone longer powers on. I walked the person through the basic troubleshooting such as: try powering with charger, powering with different chargers, powering with force reset (pwr dwn vol), and from bios (pwr up vol). All of these did not work. Pretty sad how it did not even make it to 6 months.

This phone has some nice specs and nice cameras However the exynos version is not worth it The snapdragon 865 chip is way more powerful than the exynos version For camera , battery life , overall preformance the snapdragon version is better I got the exynos version The phone heats most of the time which is not good I notice a lot of frame drops Also the big difference between the snapdragon and the exynos that snapdragon comes with 5g and 12gb of ram which the exynos doesn't and both of them retails for the same price which is not fair I just wish i had the snapdragon since it is 50% faster than exynos But I'm still happy with what i got Camera is fantastic and is better than my older oneplus phone Display is awesome with 120hz and accurate colors and brightness Battery life isn't bad for a 120hz screen it survires during the day i only charge it up at night One ui 2.1 is a really great operating system better than the previous one ui but not similar to a stock android I love the design of this phone the only down side that the back glass is a fingerprint magnet Overall not a bad phone i just wish samsung used the snapdragon variant worldwide

The phone gives option of 2 sims or a sim and micro xcsd. No problems with storing media or apps.Speedy. Screen clear and sensitive but fingerprint sensor can be flaky at times. Recieves signal better than previous phone. Fewer black spots at home. Has resonable to good battery life. Using with a case taking screenshots are nearly impossible.

I've had Samsung Galaxy phones since the S3 and purchased the S20+ 5G as part of my contract renewal. My overall impression is that the phone's okay but not much of an upgrade on my S9 and in some ways it's not as good. Pros: - Nice screen - The S20+ size is about spot on - Seems well built - 120hz refresh rate is smooth Cons: - The camera is poor: auto focus is all over the place, especially for close shots. Pro mode is a bit better but to be honest I expected more. Maybe a few software updates will fix it. As for picture quality my 5 year old Sony digital camera absolutely slaughters it as far as I'm concerned. - Smart Lock doesn't work: Smart lock on my S9 was hit and miss but in the main worked quite well, on the S20+ it's simply broken. - Google Chrome constantly freezes to such an extent it's useless. - Finger print sensor is nowhere near as good as it should be, which is a shame given how much I need to use it due to the problems with smart lock. To be honest I'd have been better off keeping my S9 on a sim only deal until such time the S20+ gets its flaws sorted out, which hopefully can be done with future software updates.

Good phone but not an upgrade from the Note 9

So I had high hopes for this phone. I currently use a Note 9 with Verizon. I purchased this to prepare for 5G in Austin. With the exception of 5G this didn't feel like an upgrade to me. Yes it's 120hz but unless your gaming constantly its not that noticeable for normal users. Honestly I feel like my note 9 feels snappier then the S20+. My apps ran wayyy smoother. Maybe I just got a bad version of the phone? It was also difficult to get used to the fingerprint sensor being on the screen now compared to the sensor near the camera on the note 9. I know this is not just a S20 upgrade its supposed to be the new thing but I didn't care for this new style. I'm also not a fan of the power button and the volume buttons on the right side of the phone. I can't tell you how many times I accidentally pressed power instead of volume down. Ultimately the phone felt like a downgrade for me. I hope the devs don't see this and try and dial back the specs of the Note 9 now lol. I ended up returning this on day 13. I really tried to like it. Still a Samsung fan just would not recommend this as an upgrade from a Note 9. If this is your first upgrade in 2-3 years it may be an option.
