Its high resolution and full-frame format make it perfect for detail-oriented photography and allow for video recording at up to 8K resolution.

EXPEED 7 Image Processor: Working alongside the sensor, the EXPEED 7 processor delivers speeds 10x faster than the Z7 II. This rapid processing boosts autofocus speed, increases burst shooting rates, deepens buffer capacity, and ensures smooth video performance, all while offering quick and responsive handling across the board.
Electronic Shutter-Only Design
The Z8 completely eliminates a mechanical shutter, relying entirely on an electronic shutter for all shooting modes. With shutter speeds up to 1/32,000 sec, the stacked sensor minimizes motion distortion, making it ideal for capturing fast-moving subjects like athletes or vehicles. Despite the lack of a mechanical shutter, the Z8 supports flash sync up to 1/200 sec and high-speed sync for creative lighting.
The absence of a mechanical shutter also allows for silent operation, perfect for discreet shooting scenarios. An optional shutter sound can be added with adjustable volume to suit different shooting environments, and without a mechanical component, there’s no worry about shutter wear or failure.
